Galerie McKenzie Marcotte in Wakefield Qc is pleased to present “Active Ingredients”, an exhibition of acrylic paintings by Norman Takeuchi.These works on canvas are part of his on-going, and continually evolving, exploration of abstract images. Abstraction is enormously appealing to Norman Takeuchi because it presents him with endless opportunities for experimentation and improvisation.

Ormstown's Editions Mouton Rose Galerie d'Art du Quebec showcases the work of three Quebec artists, Cliff Caron, Jane Gorman and Andre Librex - in an hommage in painting to three great french language singers of the last century: Jacques Brel, Georges Brassens and Edith Piaf.

The exhibition, Symphonie Francaise, runs from June 12 to July 6, 2008.

Hours for the gallery are Thursday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m, Sundays from noon until 5:00.

Asian colors and rhythms are converging in the enchanting scenery of the Chinese Garden in the 10^th edition of ‘Danse et musique orientale’ presented by Festival Accès Asie in collaboration with the Chinese Garden of the Montreal Botanical Garden. The Festival period runs from July 10^th - 13^th at 1:30pm, 2:30pm and 3:30pm.

Groups such as the Duo GZEM, Lasya, Shen Qi, Turquebec, Arashi Daiko, MCCCA and Hailin Sun performing three times a day will give the audience a chance to discover the charms of traditional Chinese, Turkish, Indian and Japanese dance and music.
